Since 2016, the Headlock on Hunger event has provided families in the Truckee Meadows with kid-friendly entertainment that doesn’t break the bank. We aim to raise awareness about child hunger in our community as well as raise funds for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada to support their fight against child hunger. Since its inception, the event has donated over 150,000 meals to those served by Food Bank programs.
Our next event is scheduled for 7PM, May 11th at Reed High School, and we’ve set a fundraising goal of $20,000 that we can’t achieve without your help. Will you impact the life of a child in our community by donating today? Every dollar raised will be turned into 3 meals by the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
