Let's Help Families Gather Around the Table This Holiday Season

Making sure families have the nutritious meals they need during the holidays is at the center of all of our hearts right now.  With your help, those who face hunger will be able to relax and enjoy the season with the knowledge that they don't have to worry about where the food on their table will come from.

The Nevada State Education Association has been the voice of Nevada educators for 125 years.

This week, SNAP benefits for over 40 million Americans were interrupted, impacting many educators and large numbers of students and families in our communities. In a recent member survey, we found that nearly 9% of educators rely on SNAP benefits and more than 20% of educator families have been financially impacted by the government shutdown. NSEA has made organizational contributions and is proud to partner with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada and agencies in the south to help address this crisis. We encourage you to join us to contribute based on your ability.
