In May of 2023, my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, which had spread to my brain, liver, and bones. It was a devastating blow, but thanks to the incredible support of my family, friends, and community, I found strength in the midst of uncertainty.
Since then, I have been on a journey marked by both challenges and moments of hope. As of December 2023, I am grateful to say that my condition has remained stable, with encouraging scan results that continue to give us optimism for the future.
My faith has been a rock throughout this experience. As a faithful Christian, I draw comfort from knowing that God is walking beside me every step of the way, guiding me through this difficult chapter. My wife and I have been together since high school, sharing 21 years of love and partnership. Together, we are parents to four wonderful children, along with our loyal dog and ducks who bring joy to our home.
In the midst of this journey, I’ve found purpose in combining my passion for motocross with raising awareness and hope. That’s where the 30 Minute Motocross Challenge was born—a way for me to push myself physically, spotlight incredible riders, and raise funds for the fight against cancer. This challenge isn’t just about racing; it’s about perseverance, community, and showing that even in the face of stage 4 cancer, there is strength, joy, and purpose to be found.
I am deeply touched by the outpouring of love and support from our family and our community. The Bidlacks want to extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every person who has stood by us, offering prayers, encouragement, and practical help. Your kindness has made a profound difference in our lives, reminding us that we are not alone in this fight.
As we continue to navigate this journey, we hold onto hope and cherish every moment together. With faith, love, and the support of our community, we face each day with courage and determination.
