We are on a mission to raise awareness and funds to help "Fight Hunger & Combat Homelessness" for our community's Service Members, Veterans and their families. For many active-duty military members, hunger is a reality. As many as 24% of active-duty service members and their families experience food insecurity in the United States. Sadly, that number increases by 50% when it comes to our veterans. We are partnering with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada to fill up a convoy of Humvees and deliver it to them military style. We will be receiving matching funds from VFW National for up to $1 for every pound of food we collect. So, show your love and join the fight against hunger! The 2nd Annual "Be My Valentine" Craft Fair to be held on February 11th, 2023, is being presented by the VFW Auxiliary Post 3396 Auxiliary at the American Legion Hall located at 730 4th St in Sparks, next to the Post Office.
