Trefoil Trot 5K Walk April 14th, 2024

DESCRIPTION

Lace up those running shoes, it's time for our 2nd Annual Trefoil Trot 5K Walk!

Whether you're up for a casual walk with your troop/family and friends (or just want to hang out and cheer everyone on!), join us for lots of fun, while enjoying the spirit of Girl Scouting and community. Following the Trefoil Trot, keep the excitement going with a visit to our post-race festival to enjoy Girl Scout-themed activities, check out Orange County Legacy Troops, and more!

Funds raised will support Girl Scouts of Orange County, ensuring that every girl can be a Girl Scout, regardless of socio-economic barriers.  Together, we can champion girl ambition and build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place!

7:00am | Day of Registration & Team Area Open

7:30am | 5K Trefoil Trot Walk begins

8:00am | Post-Race Festival

9:30am | Daisy Dash

 

EVENT POLICIES

We want the Trefoil Trot to be a positive experience for all, therefore we have some policies to keep everyone safe, to make the event successful, and to ensure a good time for all.

  • The Trefoil Trot is for registered Trefoil Trot participants only.
  • Strollers are permitted, for safety reasons, we ask that participants using strollers line up behind those who are walking.
  • Please note, children on thecourse MUST BE A REGISTERED PARTICIPANT of the event. If children need a shorter distance, we recommend they participate in the Daisy Dash. They will receive the official t-shirt (in children’s sizes) and event patch,
  • Pets are prohibited.
  •  Funds raised at the Trefoil Trot will support Girl Scouts of Orange County, ensuring that all girls in Orange County have access to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience regardless of their socio-economic background or other barriers. Funds raised by Girl Scout Seniors/Ambassador members will benefit Girl Scouts of Orange County's Gold Award initiatives, Daisy, Brownie, Junior and Cadette members should partner with an adult to reach their goals. The Gold Award is the highest award a girl can earn in Girl Scouts.
